Hi! Earlier this week, I mentioned that I visited Savannah, Georgia for my birthday weekend. I’m old-school at heart, so it’s no surprise that I instantly fell in love with the city’s character and charm. I had a great time exploring the historic districts and taking a stroll through the various squares. The flourishing florals, Spanish-moss draped trees, and classical architecture made Savannah’s scenery picture-perfect. I felt like I was taking a step back in time!
When I was completely worn out from all the walking, I ventured to beautiful Forsyth Park to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It’s easily the best place to have a picnic or people-watch! After some time, the sun started to set and it was time for dinner. Although there were so many amazing options to choose from, I decided to eat at the Flying Monk Noodle Bar because of its’ great reviews. I am so glad that I did because the meal did not disappoint! It was sooo good and I highly recommend eating there if you are ever in the area! For dessert, I went to the popular Leopold’s Ice Cream shop. It’s definitely the best ice cream on the block and a must-do in Savannah! The store’s queue line is usually extremely long, but it is very well worth the wait. I swear there’s something magical in the ice cream that makes you come back for more! I was there twice during my visit. 🙂 My favorite flavors were lemon custard and honey almond cream. Mmmm..yum! Anywho, that’s all for this post. Hope you all have a great rest of your week and talk to ya soon! ~b
