…well kind of! 🙂 At the end of October this year, my boyfriend and I transferred out of our studio into a one-bedroom apartment. It’s situated in the same high rise complex so there are various similarities in the two different floorplans. You can check out the empty studio here.
Since I love documenting the places that I have lived – I had to share this mini-tour of our “new” home with you all! Our current space is approximately 678 sq. ft. with a base rent of $1407 – which is actually a good deal as we are on a higher level. The one-bedroom is very much modern and what you would expect out of an urban luxury apartment. There’s hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, breathtaking city views – just to name a few features!
In addition, our high rise building has some really great community amenities which really enforces the idea of living an elevated lifestyle. From a rooftop pool to a sophisticated club lounge, I highlight some of these areas in the second half of my video.
All in all, I really hope you enjoy today’s empty home tour post! This month, I also leased another luxury apartment in the city and I am super excited to share that with you all as well – so stay tuned! As always, I appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos or read my blog. Y’all are the best! ~b
Welcome to another empty studio apartment tour – high rise edition! I thought it would be neat to share with you guys a more modern upscale apartment in the city. This is actually my boyfriend’s place, it’s a 15 min-ish walk from my home so I hang out here quite often. He was sweet enough to let me film the before footage to put on my YouTube channel. 🙂 The complex is very sophisticated and posh with modern amenities ( you feel like you are living in a fancy hotel ). There’s a sky lounge, fitness center, and pool all located on the 24th floor. It’s situated right in uptown allowing the apartment to have a gorgeous view of the city skyline. There is even a mini park located on top of the parking garage. This is where you will find us attempting to play tennis together (i’m not very good – ha!). His unit is also very sleek in design. There is dark hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, granite marble counter tops, a private balcony, and many more features. We plan to decorate with modern furnishings but still keep the space very open. My boyfriend is a minimalist by nature so I don’t think we are getting a lot of items …but i’ll keep you guys posted with a haul if we do! That’s all for this post, I hope you guys enjoy the extra pictures and the mini video tour! ~b
Hi all! Here’s an unfurnished video tour of my current studio apartment. I have been living here for a few months now and I absolutely love it here! The energy of the city is contagious! I can’t tell you guys enough how lucky I am to snag this 324 sq. ft. studio with a monthly rent of $655. Most apartments in uptown are around a grand (yikes!). On top of the affordable price, my unit came with everything I could possibly need. There is plenty of built-in storage to make up for the lack of footage. A work/desk space right next to the kitchen, and washer/dryer combo in the walk in closet. I’ll admit the furnishings are super basic but they helped me save a lot of money on buying cohesive furniture. In addition, the complex has really good amenities. There are two pools and fitness centers, café/computer room, laundry room, and outside lounging areas. Although this is the smallest space I have ever lived in, it is actually my favorite apartment. I really couldn’t have been happier with my decision to call this place my home. ~b
Update: Check out my fully decorated studio apartment here.
