Happy July! Here are my final photos from my trip to Mexico. Though, a pretty short trip overall. I was lucky enough to be able to fit so many activities in my schedule. Last on my list was to see the iconic Arch of Cabo San Lucas before I left, so that’s exactly what my father and I did! It’s a distinctive rock formation that marks that spot where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. We went on a yacht boat excursion in the evening to see it and to also watch the sunset. The views at sea were simply breathtaking and I thought it was the perfect way to end the trip! ~b
Bonjour!!!Sharing my final pics from my mini France travel series with one of my absolute favorite cities – Paris! It’s one of those places that I love to visit over and over again. There are so many things that come to mind when I think of Paris…. picnics by the Effiel Tower, casual strolls through the immaculate gardens, sightseeing at all the top attractions…The list can go on and on but I’ll truly never forget my first time seeing the iconic Effiel Tower. I remembered turning a corner and suddenly having a “pinch me” kind of moment when I first laid eyes on the majestic structure. It’s grandiose and timeless, I couldn’t stop marveling at it! The historical monument is one of the most famous landmarks in the world and a symbol of Paris. If you have the time, you can also climb the tower to get a beautiful view of the city… I posted a pic down below. It’s an amazing experience that you have to do at least once in your life! The City of Lights is awe-inspiring, romantic, and simply magical. I am honestly sooo entranced by the lovely atmosphere of Paris so I can’t wait to come back soon! ~b 🙂
Happy Tuesday, guys! Yesterday I drove down to Charleston with some family and friends for a mini day trip. So I thought what better idea then to share some photos from my last visit in the summertime!
Charleston, South Carolina is a super popular destination. Beloved by both tourists and locals, it’s well-known for its rich culture and historic charm. Exploring the historic district is a must-have and the best way to fully experience the city. Located in downtown, the South of Broad neighborhood is home to some of the most beautiful residential architecture. My absolute favorite is this posh mansion overlooking White Point Garden! It’s the perfect balance of classic and contemporary. Nearby these fabulous estates is the famous battery. It’s a nice place to take a stroll and catch a light breeze in the hot humidity. Below are some of my top pics from my summer trip, I’ll also be posting my pictures from my winter trip in a later blog post. As always, thanks for stopping by – until next time! 🙂 ~b
Happy Wednesday, everyone! One of the main reasons I started blogging was because I wanted to document parts of my life. Like a diary of sorts, I love the ability to reflect back with words and beautiful photography. Below are photos taken in West Palm Beach, Florida this past summer.
Naturally anywhere with tropical palm trees is my type of vacation and West Palm Beach was no exception. It’s absolutely gorgeous! My family and I were only there briefly after our cruise to the Bahamas. Regardless of the short stay, I still loved strolling around the sophisticated streets and gazing at the colorful pastel architecture. We also had time to venture to the beach and enjoy the calming seaside bliss. Hearing the waves rolled in, eased and rejuvenated my soul with a sense of carefreeness. I love peaceful and relaxing destination, so I hope to travel back one day to fully experience all that West Palm Beach has to offer! ~b
Hi guys! Finally, putting up some pics from my Oregon, Washington, & Colorado mini vacay a while back. I haven’t made a trip to the West Coast in years. Even so, it didn’t take long for me to be in complete awe of the majestic beauty of the natural landscape. Being surrounded by mountains and wilderness, every corner turned into a photo opportunity!
I traveled with my boyfriend and brother, who are both avid photographers. We woke up early everyday to catch the sunrise.Jonsrud View Pointwas my favorite scenic spot at dawn . It is located in Sandy, Oregon – which is a 50 min. drive from Portland where we were staying. The outlook was conveniently situated on the side of the road. It was also right in front of a neighborhood, making it basically someone’s front yard. Soooo can you just imagine waking up to that incredible view every morning?! Ahhh I’m jealous!
Later in the same day, we drove to Washington to visit Johnston Ridge Observatory. It’s a great place to enjoy an expansive view of Mount Saint Helens. You can also come here to learn more about the aftermath of the 1980 volcanic eruption. It is the most deadliest and economically destructive volcanic event in American history. To this date, the area is still slowly recovering. If you have the time, I would check this place out.
All in all, I hope you guys enjoy the travel pics and I can’t wait to share more of my trip with you guys. Talk to ya soon! ~b
Blue Ridge is famous for its brilliant fall foliage, and for good reasons – it’s absolutely stunning! I have been to Blue Ridge a few times in the summer months but never in autumn. Though not a huge fan of the colder weather in the mountains, the view from Rough Ridge Overlook was spectacular! I was able to witness the sea of trees in ripple waves ofwildfire colors. The forest was ignited with crimson red and fiery yellow in the most picturesque way. Although fall is nearing its last fallen leaf, if you ever get the chance to head south for autumn, I highly recommend checking out Blue Ridge 🙂 ! ~b
