Blue Ridge is famous for its brilliant fall foliage, and for good reasons – it’s absolutely stunning! I have been to the Blue Ridge mountains a few times in the summer months but never in autumn. Though not a huge fan of the colder weather in the mountains, the view from Rough Ridge Overlook was spectacular! I was able to witness the sea of trees in ripple waves of wildfire colors. The forest was ignited with crimson red and fiery yellow in the most picturesque way. Although fall is nearing its last fallen leaf, if you ever get the chance to head south for autumn, I highly recommend checking out the Blue Ridge mountains 🙂 ! ~b
