A few years ago, I moved to the city with no real game plan. Just a wide-eyed grad with a rosy-tinted perspective of the world and all its possibilities. Though a small-town girl at heart, I always had big city dreams. One of my biggest goals in life is to be able to work for myself one day. I always loved creating something from scratch and cultivating it into something so much more. I am more proud of what I have accomplished on my own than anything related to my corporate career – and I realize fostering a vision is what motivates me. I still have a long way to go, but I am grateful for where I am at. The lifestyle I am able to live now feels like a dream. From the cosmopolitan bustle and hustle to the boundless opportunities – uptown living is a chapter and an experience in my life that I am thankful for. ~b
