Sun seeking + South of France daydreaming! How I wish I could pack my bags and jet-set to rolling sunflower fields of the Provence region. It is one of my absolute favorite travel destinations – with its quaint villages and charming countryside. In any case, though, I haven’t so much left the country or my house in what feels like forever because the global pandemic is out here trying to ruin everybody’s summer! But, I can always play dress-up and pretend I am somewhere sunny on holiday! 🙂
This abundant sunflower field is actually just a little bit outside of the city and the perfect spot for a photoshoot. I wore this beautiful smocked blue gingham dress with ruffle frill detailing. It has the most darling tie-knot adjustable shoulder straps. To top off the quintessential summer look, I wore a straw bucket hat. This whole outfit is honestly one of my favorite from the season, because whether you are on a vacay getaway or having a picnic at the park – you can’t go wrong with a classic gingham-print dress. ~b
