Farewell, summer! It’s always a bittersweet feeling when another season has officially come to an end. Sometimes, I just want to take a snapshot and freeze a moment in time. These photos taken at Lake Norman State Park let me relive the magic of Summer all over again – because golden hour by the lake is simply pure magic. I love watching the sunset cast its warm glow throughout the evening skies and light up the lakeside with the softest hues.
For me, a day at the lake calls for a classic but casual go-to outfit. It’s a place to relax and enjoy after all! You can literally never go wrong with high-waisted denim shorts. I paired mine with a white tank top from Marshall’s that has tiny pineapple embroidery detailing throughout (love!).
