Where does the time go? I can’t believe summer is coming to an end! I am dreading it…colder weather and I just don’t get along (although we have tried in the past). I’m just a flip-flop-all-year-long type of gal. But I have to admit, fall fashion and all the festivities is something I am looking forward to. For now, though, I’m just going to enjoy the last rays of sunshine in this flowy maxi dress. It is more muted with earthy tones and the rustic/burnt floral pattern gives off a vintage boho vibe. These elements combined make it a transitional piece from summer to fall. I purchased the “dress” from American Eagle but it’s actually a maxi skirt that happens to fit me as an ankle-length dress on me (#shortgirlprobs). I love the elegance of long dresses but have a hard time finding ones that do not swallow my petite frame. That’s why this skirt works as a dress, it comes in more size options and you can always belt it like I did to make it more fitted. Hope this tip helps one of you shorties out there! Talk to you soon! ~b
