A couple of summers ago, I had the adventure of a lifetime while backpacking Europe. I traveled throughout the beautiful country of France and was enamored by it all! Nestled in between the mountains and the Mediterranean is a sleepy seaside town called Menton. It’s one of my absolute favorite spots on the French Riviera and has even been nicknamed, “The Pearl of France.” It’s a beloved hidden gem that tourists often miss out on. A cluster of pastel homes cascades the hillside overlooking the quaint beaches. A little library is even situated on the beach which I thought was a super clever idea. I know if I was local there I would totally love sunbathing with a good book in hand! Menton also has sunny weather year-round so it’s an ideal gateway for any season. The relaxed atmosphere also makes time stand still and you feel like you are in a daydream of some sort. I loved my quick mini trip to Menton and can’t wait to come back here one day to explore more of this charming village! 🙂 ~b
