When I booked my flight ticket to Utah in March, one of the top places I wanted to see was the Salt Flats at Bonneville. Thousands of years ago, this location used to be a huge lake that has dried up since then. Nowadays, it’s home to virtually nothing but salt pans. However, there’s definitely something worth capturing even in the middle of nowhere. It’s a beautiful natural phenomenon that becomes even more stunning after it rains. When wet, the salt flats cast a mesmerizing reflection of the serene mountain and blue skies. It’s one of the most surreal experiences to witness in person, while also creating one of the best mirror effect photography. Captivated by it all, I felt like a miniature figurine inside a snow globe. The landscape stretches on for miles and miles. You can’t help but feel so small in such a vast endless space! ~b
